WHO WE ARE
Our Team
Fronterra is two partners, and the division between us is deliberate. One of us has spent a career running companies and creating value inside them. The other has spent his evaluating technology and backing the people building it. Both of us work every investment, from first conversation to the operating plan.

Daniel Zelkind
Founding Partner
Daniel founded Fronterra to invest in Israel’s industrial economy — manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure and defence. The fund made its first investment in the Otef region of southern Israel in 2022, and has stayed focused there since.
Daniel has spent his career running and building companies. He was chief executive of the Israeli digital arm of a global media group, co-founded and ran a venture-backed consumer payments business, and founded both a global infrastructure platform for digital value and payouts and an AI fraud-prevention company for digital payments. He is an active angel investor and a value-creation advisor to investment funds, working with portfolio companies on the operating side rather than the deal side. He holds an MBA from Reichman University and a BA in Finance and Management from Tel Aviv University.
LinkedInGreg Fishman
Partner
Greg is a technology investor. He has been a Venture Partner at LongeVC since 2021, and has advised and angel-invested in startups on product and technology since 2010. In 2006 he founded AIS, a private research institute working on artificial intelligence and machine learning, whose groups research computability theory, quantum computing and multi-agent systems. He read physics and mathematics. At Fronterra he leads technical and commercial diligence, and the question of whether a business’s process, equipment and data can be made materially better before we commit to buying it.
